ECB Online Scoring Course

The ECB have introduced a new and FREE online scoring course.

This course is designed to give people new to scoring the knowledge and confidence to have a go at scoring in cricket. No prior experience of scoring is required before attending the course. Whether you plan to support junior softball cricket or a hard ball game, this course will cover the following topics: Understanding the role of the Scorer Recognise umpire signals and what they mean for scoring  Gain an understanding of both paper and electronic scoring Understand how to end the game and identify results correctly Have an awareness of safeguarding responsibilities whilst scoring   Upon completion free membership to join the Association of Cricket Officials is offered via the online learning platform. You must be 14 or over to register for this course, if under 18 parental permission must be obtained before you proceed.
